Though Drew Barrymore wants children, she is prepared to wait some time to start a family.

The "Charlie's Angels" beauty, 30, who is currently dating The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, doesn't think she will start a family for the next few years at least because she wants to be fully committed to her children.

"As much as I've experimented with many things in life, starting a family wasn't something I wanted to experiment with (earlier).

"It will be a few more years, but never say never. I want to be the smartest, most selfless version of myself before I have children."

The sexy actress, who has two failed marriages to bartender Jeremy Thomas and comedian Tom Green, both of which lasted just a few months, believes hitting the landmark 30 years in February has helped her understand who she is as a person.
