Jamie Foxx, whose impressive singing voice was heard when he played musician Ray Charles in the biopic "Ray", is now set to release an album of his own.

The Oscar winner has already begun work on original tracks for the album.

Top recoding artists including 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash are all said to be desperate to collaborate with him.

Foxx, currently filming a big screen version of the cop series "Miami Vice" with Colin Farrell, revealed that "Sexy", one of the songs in the album, was a plea to women not to have plastic surgery.
