Outspoken Hollywood veteran Jane Fonda has dubbed the US-led war in Iraq as a "mistake".

The Internet Media Database quoted the actress, 67, as saying in a television interview: "I think the war is wrong. I think it's a mistake and I think that we should get out."

Fonda was both praised and vilified for her protests against the Vietnam War.
