Teen star Hilary Duff feels she has lesser chances of growing up to become a dysfunctional former child star - because she wasn't pushed into her career.
The singer and actress, who has been in show business since the age of nine, is confident she won't become static like a number of young stars she has watched as they
grew older.
"I think I'm really lucky. I think the difference is that they didn't get to choose if they wanted it. Their parents made them do it or they started at such a young age they didn't
have a choice," Duff was quoted as saying.
"That's not really how my sister and I started. I was old enough to know that I liked it."
