Kevin Federline decided he wanted to become a dad after 9/11, according to ex-wife Shar Jackson.

According to the "Moesha" actress, who enjoyed a long romance with the dancer before he married pop queen Britney Spears last year, they conceived their daughter Kori after the US terror attacks gave them a new appreciation for life, reported Ireland Online.

"Kevin and I were very much in love, and we decided we wanted to have a kid after 9/11. That freaked us out and made us think about what was important in life," she said. The former couple also have an eight-month-old son, Kaleb.
