Pop diva Jennifer Lopez is considering a move into politics - with activist pal Jane Fonda as advisor.
The singer-cum-actress, who admits she never got involved with political and social issues because she didn't think her opinion mattered, said she changed her mind on
meeting the "Barbarella" actress Fonda.
"She's been politically involved her whole life but I never have... As you get older and you become more mature you become more aware of the world around you," said J Lo,
revealing that she was now more interested in following a cause.
Lopez became firm friends with anti-war campaigner Fonda while shooting the comedy "Monster-in-law" last year.
"I remember asking Jane if I wanted to do something, what would you say and she said, 'There's a time to do things and a way to do things. When you're ready call me and
I'll tell you what's right and what's wrong, so you won't get yourself in any trouble.' She was cool about that."
