After Madonna, it is Mariah Carey who wants to become a children's fiction writer.

The 35-year-old pop diva has announced plans to publish a series of illustrated children's books titled "Automatic Princess", reports Ireland Online.

The books to be based on the stories of her own childhood experience as the daughter of a mixed race marriage will explore the journey of a bi-racial orphan girl.
