George Michael is auctioning his car on the Internet portal eBay to raise money for his favourite charities.

The black Range Rover that made news in 1992 - during the "Wham!" star's eventful night out with supermodel Linda Evangelista - comes complete with a "massive" stereo system perfect for playing hits, reports Ireland Online.

The advert on the website says: "This is a unique opportunity to own a car owned by one of the most talented singer/songwriters of modern times.

"The proceeds of this sale will be going to worthy causes."

The bidding closes Tuesday and has so far attracted approximately $9,100.
