David Beckham wanted to split from wife Victoria when she was pregnant with their third child, the star couple's former nanny has claimed.

During one of their many heated arguments, the England football captain allegedly told the former Spice Girl that he wanted to end their five-year marriage, according to celebrity portal Femalefirst.

Abbie Gibson, who lived with the couple for two years as she looked after their sons, claims she once heard David yell at Victoria, who was at the time seven months pregnant with their third child, "You ****ing bitch!"

Gibson told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "I know the truth more than anybody because I have lived under their roof for two years. Unfortunately, I was the third person in their marriage.

"While I was looking after Brooklyn and Romeo I would often hear things I wish I hadn't heard."
