Halle Berry claims she is very insecure about her looks and her acting.

The "Die Another Day" actress - who has featured in People magazine's annual roster for the most beautiful people nine times - says she just does not have any confidence.

Internet portal Femalefirst quoted her as saying: "I've tried hard over the years in everything I've done. But trying hard doesn't mean that you always have confidence."

As for the compliments showered on her: "Although such things do wonders, I'm never able to take them seriously. If they really knew me, they'd realise I'm far from secure about my looks."
