David Beckham, also called the world's most beautiful sports icon, has revealed that he took beauty tips from wife Victoria to look like a million bucks.

Britain's only sports star to have featured in this year's People magazine was quoted by Internet portal Ananova as saying: "I've learned a lot. Being out in the cold and rain doesn't help your skin, so moisturiser in the morning is a big thing.

"And at night it's the eye cream. A manicure is probably my favourite pampering splurge."

Beckham was in April selected as the best-looking sports star in a list of the world's most beautiful people that saw Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie voted Most Beautiful Man and Woman.
