Penelope Cruz, who turned 30 last year, claims she's never been happier.

The stunning actress, who is currently dating actor Matthew McConaughey, said reaching the milestone last year made her appreciate her life much more, according to celebrity portal Femalefirst.

"There's such a long learning process in your 20s. I was 17 when I became an actress and I've been learning ever since," Penelope said.

"I'm not saying I'm really clever. If I lived to be 100 I'd still be able to learn, but I feel more mature now and I'm able to deal with all sorts of situations in many countries," she said.
