R&B star Usher, 26, is planning an early retirement because he doesn't think he can keep up his tough workout and performance regime into his 40s.

"I don't plan on being a 30 or 40-year-old artist who continues to tour. I'll do it in my leisure...I do not want to be 38 years old, sweating with my shirt off, running around stage. No abs of steel, blab of steel," Ireland Online quoted the black singer as saying.

The workaholic R&B star insists he's happy working as hard as he does right now, because he knows it will give him the chance to relax in years to come.
