The phenomenal, multi-billion dollar success of "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy has made director Peter Jackson
Hollywood's most powerful person.
Ireland Online website said the 43-year-old New Zealand-born director has been declared most powerful in
Hollywood by the influential Premiere magazine.
Jackson has been called one of the few "one man band productions that are changing the grid of the power
structure", the website said.
Producer-director Steve Spielberg is at No. 2 while Steve Jobs and John Lasseter, the heads of Pixar
animations company, fell from last year's No. 1 spot to third.
Among the actors on the list are Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, Tom Hanks, Will Smith and Johnny Depp.
