Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie, the goodwill ambassador of the United Nations High Commissioner for
Refugees, Friday said she would draw the world's attention to the needs of Afghan refugees in Pakistan,
reports Xinhua.
Jolie, who's on a four-day visit to Pakistan, discussed with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf the return of
the refugees to their country.
An official statement released after the meeting said Musharraf urged the world to create economic conditions
within Afghanistan for the return of the three million refugees.
He reiterated his proposal to UNHCR that the refugee camps be relocated within Afghanistan.
Jolie assured the president that in her contacts with other countries and leading personalities worldwide, she
would raise the issue of the Afghan refugees.
Jolie arrived in Pakistan Wednesday.
