Tom Cruise's new girlfriend, Katie Holmes, says she's had a racy past - she frequently landed in trouble at school for wearing short skirts.

The "Dawson Creek" actress, 26, who was educated at an all-girls Catholic school in Ohio in the US, was quoted by Femalefirst as saying: "We got into trouble about how high our skirts were. I had about 20 de-merits at the end of the year for my skirt being too high."

The clean-cut actress is reportedly going steady with the 42-year-old "Top Gun" actor, whom she has been dating since last month.
