George Clooney has reportedly split from his girlfriend, British TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, owing to problems with their long distance relationship.

According to celebrity portal Femalefirst, Lisa refused to leave her native Britain to live permanently with George in Hollywood. "I would miss Britain too much," she had said.

Ironically, the couple - that split earlier on the same grounds - was rumoured to be set to tie the knot. George was allegedly dropping hints that he was ready to become husband again and Lisa was reportedly visiting bridal parlours and booking under friends' names.
