Catherine Zeta Jones has been named as the celebrity with the perfect female body.

Angelina Jolie came second and Halle Berry third in the poll by Eve magazine where readers were asked to nominate the woman who had the best figure and body image in the world, reports Ireland Online.

"The survey shows that women prefer stars who combine great beauty with independence and a strength of character and it also demonstrates that women can retain their looks and sexiness when they become mums," an Eve spokesman said.

Other celebrities who featured in the top 10 included Elle McPherson, Kate Winslet and Jennifer Lopez.
