Cate Blanchett has rushed to Britain with her one-year-old son after he sustained minor burns in an accident in Morocco.

Blanchett - who's shooting her new movie "Babel" alongside Brad Pitt in the African country - loaned a private jet to fly her child to a top burns specialist in London after initially showing him at a Marrakech hospital, reports the Internet Media Database.

"Roman had an accident and he's being treated for a minor burn. Cate is with him. I think Cate will return to Morocco in a few days. She's almost finished filming," Blanchett's publicist said.

It's not known exactly how Roman sustained his injury Sunday. On Saturday, "The Aviator" actress had celebrated her 36th birthday with screenwriter husband Andrew Upton and sons Dashiell, 3, and Roman in Marrakech.
