Geri Halliwell's quest for comeback success has been dealt a devastating blow - Britain's top radio stations have blacklisted her new single saying it is not interesting enough.

The former Spice Girl has been desperate to resurrect her career after several years out of the limelight, reports Ireland Online.

A Radio 1 spokesman said: "We've only got a finite amount of room on our play lists and we chose songs we think our audience are interested in. Geri's isn't one we'll be adding."
