Whitney Houston is heading back to the recording studio just weeks after leaving rehabilitation for drug abuse.

The 41-year-old singer says she now feels strong enough to return to work and will finish the comeback album "Just Whitney" she had started before falling ill, reports Internet portal Femalefirst.

The pop diva, who last checked herself into a similar programme 12 months ago, has endured a turbulent private life - that often overshadowed her award-winning music career - over the past decade.
