Angelina Jolie has spoken fondly of her relationship with Brad Pitt - calling him "goofy".

The sexy actress also revealed the pair had a lot of pent-up aggression for each other - which helped their fight scenes in films, reports celebrity portal Femalefirst.

She confessed to American TV show The Actors' Studio: "We became very competitive, aggressive.

"Everything escalated into these huge fight scenes. He was great to work with.

"He's a great actor. He's also a really great guy I didn't know what to expect in meeting him. He's extremely down to earth, goofy, funny and very good".

Last week, Brad - who is divorcing his ex wife former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston - returned the compliment and praised Angelina for her kind-hearted charity donations.

He said he was stunned by the "staggering" amounts of money the actress handed over to good causes, adding: "In fact, she probably makes money so she can give more away.

"That seems to be of more concern to her than her films".
