Rapper Eminem has mocked critics of the controversial video for his new single "Ass like that" - because he can't believe people can be offended by its puppet stars.

The hip-hop singer, who has teamed up with US TV show "Crank Yankers'" comedy team for the promo, insists the video is as innocuous as an episode of children's TV show "Sesame Street", reports Femalefirst.

It features puppet versions of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen indulging in lesbian sex, and a masculine marionette of Britney Spears, with Eminem rapping: "Britney Spears has shoulders like a man."

The promo also pokes fun at Janet Jackson and raves about Gwen Stefani.
