Elton John is set to marry for the second time. The flamboyant singer will wed his long time partner David Furnish Dec 21.
"We are definitely going to do it and we're not going to do it in secret. The first date we can get married is the 21st," Sky News quoted the "Candle in the wind" singer as
saying.
The Civil Partnership Bill will become a law in Britain Dec 5, when same-sex couples will be able to register their intention to marry. After waiting a 15-day "cooling off"
period, same-sex couples can legally wed.
John and Furnish have been together for 11 years.
