Pop star Kylie Minogue is resorting to alternative therapies in her fight against breast cancer.

The 37-year old singer, who was diagnosed with the life-threatening illness a month ago, has consulted a bio-energy healer to help her deal with radiotherapy sessions, reports celebrity portal FemaleFirst.

During the sessions, the healer will try to beam positive energy into Minogue's body with one hand while removing negative energy with the other.

The "Slow" singer has also turned to colour therapy by getting her hospital room painted pink.

It is believed Kylie was inspired by fellow breast cancer sufferer Olivia Newton-John who used Buddhist chanting to fight the disease.
