Hollywood actor Russell Crowe has regretted injuring a night porter during an altercation at a New York City
hotel - and he will accept any punishment dished out to him.
The "Gladiator" star lost his temper with Nestor Estrada at the Mercer Hotel after he failed to connect Crowe's
phone call to his family in Australia Monday, reports celebrity portal Femalefirst.
He threw the room telephone against a wall and inflicted minor injuries on Estrada's face in the
process.
Crowe maintained that he did not intend to hurt Estrada but accepts responsibility for the results of his
hot-headed actions.
He said: "I am in a lot of trouble. I'm at the bottom of a well. I can't communicate how dark my life is right now.
"I'm very sorry for my actions. I know it's my fault.
