Jennifer Aniston has been filling her new home with truckloads of plants.

The "Friends" actress sold the Hollywood pad she shared with ex-husband Brad Pitt last week. She is now busy filling her new house with shrubs and plants, reports celebrity portal Femalefirst.

A source said, "The house is quite plain so Jen is doing it up. She's been pottering around the house and adding the plants to give her house more privacy."

The 36-year-old star spent more than three million pounds to buy a beachside pad after selling her former home to chat-show host Ellen Degeneres.

Insiders reveal that she has now invested in a much smaller house and one that is close to the home of her best pal and former "Friends" co-star Courtney Cox, who lives with husband David Arquette and baby daughter Coco.

The source has told Britain's "Grazia" magazine, "Her new house is very attractive but it's a quarter of the size of the home she shared with Brad; but that's part of the attraction. She now loves walking across the beach to pop into Courtney's house or she sunbathes on the deck. She is enjoying her new single life."
