Lawyers for Michael Jackson, who was recently cleared of all charges of sexual abuse, are seeking the return of his passport as the pop star is planning a trip to
Europe.
The California police has been holding the passport since 2003 when Jackson was charged with sexually molesting 13-year-old Gavin Arvizo, Comtext News
reported.
Since the 46-year old pop star was cleared of all charges last week, there have been reports that he may fly to Europe soon, Comtext quoted the Sunday Times of London.
Jackson may be considering a vacation in Switzerland at the Gstaad home of his good friend the movie legend Elizabeth Taylor.
Taylor has been a constant support to Jackson through his ordeals. She, among other celebrity friends like the "Home Alone" star Macualy Culkin and "Rush Hour" actor
Chris Tucker, defended him through out the trial.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Taylor declared Jackson not just the King of Pop but also the King of Rock and King of all other music genres.
There are also reports that Jackson is about $350 million in debt and that he may sell his 3,000-acre Neverland ranch in California.
