Four people from a show called "Balls of Steel" for Britain's Channel 4 were arrested after getting actor Tom Cruise wet in a prank involving a wet microphone. They were later
released on police bail, and may still face charges from the authorities.
"He's not pressing charges. These guys aren't worth the time or energy," Cruise's sister and publicist Lee Anne DeVette told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday. Cruise, who
recently got engaged to Katie Holmes, was squirted with water from a fake microphone while talking on the red carpet. "That's incredibly rude," Cruise snapped to the fake
interviewer. "I'm here giving you an interview, answering your questions and you do something really nasty... you're a jerk... jerk... you're a jerk."
Growing increasingly furious as he towelled his face, Cruise called the stunt "disgusting" and lectured the perpetrator. "I really work hard to make people feel good," said
Cruise. "Do you like thinking less of people, is that it?"
