Oscar winning actress Nicole Kidman, who says she doesn't believe in love at first sight, seems to be flip-flopping on her romantic history.
According to Newsweek, Kidman told a reporter while promoting her upcoming movie "Bewitched" that unlike the character she plays in the movie, she has never believed in
love at first sight.
Kidman said: "I don't believe you glance around a room, see someone and say that is going to be your future great love. I've always been painfully shy and guarded so that
could never work for me. I need to know the person first. I need to be drawn out and need to draw him out."
But what is confounding about her statements is that when talking about the first time she had met Tom Cruise, her ex-husband, she had said: "The moment I laid eyes on
Tom I thought he was the sexiest man I'd ever seen in my life. I was sort of like, 'Whoa, this is dangerous'.
"Oh, God, Tom will kill me for saying this. We went to the movies and he was wearing a T-shirt and I took one look at his arms and I couldn't watch the movie. I mean, he
had such great biceps. It was really the biceps that won me over. I was a goner after that."
