Megan Mullally, who plays the high-pitched, high strung socialite in the teleseries "Will & Grace" is all out to compete in the talk
show arena once her stint with the TV show is over in about a year.
Starting in the fall of 2006, the Emmy-award winning actress and singer will interview guests and sing on her own show, reported
zap2it.com.
Mullally first got exposure to the talk show format when she filled in for the popular David Letterman when he was recovering from an
illness.
About her experience Mullally said: "I had a really good time. A little time went by, and I did a couple of other interview-oriented things
and I thought 'I really enjoy doing this!' I didn't do anything about it though, other than tell me husband and a few friends."
Mullally also seems to be having mixed feelings about the eighth and most likely the final season of the popular comedy "Will &
Grace".
She says: "It's going to be very poignant, ramping up to the finale. We've just had so much fun, and each year we've done the show
seems to go by faster and faster, so this one will probably be like the blink of an eye. I think it'll be emotional in a lot of ways, but still
fun."
