The "Batman Begins" actress Katie Holmes is not going to make her wedding with superstar Tom cruise lavish because she wants to keep her momentous day "simple."

According to W magazine, she says she will not go for a glitzy affair when she and Cruise exchange vows. The actress recently posed for the magazine in an haute couture wedding gown on the cover.

The magazine's fashion editor said: "She said she wanted it simple, classical dress and a traditional and simple wedding."

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes recently got engaged atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris when Cruise proposed and Katie accepted.
