Tom Cruise had the chefs from his favourite restaurant in Rome flown 1,360 km to his yacht off the coast of the Dutch Antilles for his birthday bash.

According to Annanova, he flew the staff from his favourite restaurant Dal Bolognese in Rome to his yacht, which is owned by the Church of Scientology, to ensure his guest would have the best food.

The restaurant owner claimed, "We had a call asking about the availability of the chefs for Tom Cruise's birthday. Whenever he is in Italy he always comes to us."

The cooks prepared a three-course feast of tagliatelle ragu, veil Milanese and chocolate tiramisu aboard the yacht.

Tom was joined by his fiancée Katie Holmes and some close friends.
