Tom Arnold, comic actor and star of "True Lies", called Tom Cruise ignorant for attacking Brooke Shields for taking medication for postpartum depression.

Arnold attacked Cruise on the chat show "The View", reports Hollywood.com.

Arnold, who had to take Ritalin to deal with hyperactivity as child, said: "I just think he's ignorant. I just think he doesn't know.

"I thought that Brooke Shields is very brave, because celebrities, we wanna look cool, and (admitting) you wanted to kill yourself and maybe your baby is a very vulnerable thing for her to do. That's like irritable bowel syndrome, or something. It's not a cool thing.

"I think Tom is little out of touch. I think therapy is good. It's good for me, me and my wife."
