Former "Friends" star Courtney Cox has revealed that she went through postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter Coco.

According to USA Today, Cox said she suffered from depression following the birth of her baby in June last year.

She said: "I went through a really hard time - not right after the baby, but when (Coco) turned six months. I couldn't sleep. My heart was racing. And I got really depressed. I went to the doctor and found out my hormones had been pummelled."

She also said that she got through with help from close friends Jennifer Aniston and Brooke Shields.

Cox insists she would like to have another baby. "I look at Coco and say, 'I'm blessed. Why mess with this? Should I take any chances?' But we've got to try for a boy." She is married to actor David Arquette.
