Two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks is set to add to his already impressive repertoire by playing a Texan congressman in "Charlie Wilson's War".
According to Variety magazine, the movie is written by Aaron Sorkin and will be made by Universal Pictures. Hanks, the "Philadelphia" and "Forrest Gump" star, and Gary
Goetzman will serve as producers.
The movie is based on Charles Wilson, a real life Congressman whose liking for alcohol and women earned him the nickname Good Time Charlie.
The movie is set to start filming early next year after Hanks completes shooting for "The Da Vinci Code" directed by Oscar winner Ron Howard and based on the run away
best seller by Dan Brown.
