Actor Brendan Fraser is to star in the historical drama "The Bitter Sea", a movie about 1,000 Chinese children fleeing Japanese forces in World War II.
According to Production Weekly, the project, which is also known as "The Children of Huang Shi", is scheduled to start filming in early November in China.
The story is based on the experiences of British journalist George Hogg, who saved a group of children during the Japanese invasion of China in 1937. Faced with advancing
Japanese troops, Hogg led the children on a 1,000-km trek to a safe haven in remote western China.
