Acting couple Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards are reportedly trying to give their marriage another go by attending counselling sessions together.

The couple is meeting Hollywood psychoanalyst Rina Freedman, reports Internet Movie Database.

Hollywood observers were stunned when Richards filed for divorce from Sheen in March, barely three months before she gave birth to their second daughter, Lola, June 1. The couple has since been seen together many times.

Now they seem to be doing whatever it takes to salvage their marriage.

A close fried of the couple says: "They are putting the welfare of the kids first. Any relationship will benefit the children. They're getting along, and Charlie is happy and optimistic."
