Celebrity couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z spent almost $100,000 on champagne for fellow revellers at a nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Dec 27, Beyonce, 32, and Jay Z, 44, bought several rounds of drinks for everyone at the club, reports tmz.com.

A source told the website that the couple ordered hundreds of bottles of Dusse and Ace of Spades, which cost approximately $300 each, and paid the entire bill.

They were in good spirits as they danced to their hit duet "Crazy in love" and partied with their friends including Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow, The Dream and Trey Songz.

The couple topped Forbes magazine's World's Highest Paid Celebrity Couples list this year after earning $95 million between June 2012 and June 2013.
