Mimi Rogers, the actress and former wife of Tom Cruise has revealed that Cruise's proposal to her was far less romantic than the way he proposed to his now fiancée Katie Holmes.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Rogers recalls Cruise's proposal as nothing out of the ordinary.

She says, "He's always been a very intense guy who is openly passionate about some things. But we didn't go through that very public courtship stage. He proposed to Katie while they were up the Eiffel Tower, but with me he didn't do anything dashing, like going down on one knee. It just, well, it just sort of happened."

Rogers was Cruise's first wife in the 1980s before he married and later divorced Nicole Kidman.
