Singer Alesha Dixon thinks fatherhood will transform music mogul Simon Cowell and that he will make a great dad.

The 35-year-old star is confident that Cowell will become a kinder and more considerate man when he welcomes his first child with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman later this year, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I think it will change him. Simon's a great guy, I think this will make him an even nicer person. Having children does change you, it makes you become a better person because you want to set an example. I think he'll be a great dad," Dixon told Bang Showbiz at the launch of her perfume Rose Quartz at St. Martin's Lane Hotel here Wednesday.

Dixon herself welcomed her first child, a daughter - Azura Sienna, with her partner Azuka Ononye October 2013.
