"Lord of the Rings" actor Orlando Bloom is glad to finally play a role not involving a sword in Cameron Crowe's new film
"Elizabethtown".
According to Ananova.com, the 28-year-old actor will play a young Kentucky aristocrat in the film. The other movies he had acted in
involving swords were the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "Troy" and "Kingdom of Heaven".
At a press conference in Tokyo he said, "First and foremost, it was great to do a film without a sword or a horse or suit armour."
Bloom plays a young man who begins to know his family only after his father dies. The movie also co-stars Kirsten Dunst of
"Spiderman" fame.
