Miley Cyrus has requested the online trolls on Twitter to stop calling her "ugly".

The 'Wrecking Ball' singer said that she doesn't mind being called a lesbian but not ugly, Metro.co.uk reported.

The 21-year-old daughter of country-singer Billy Ray Cyrus took to the micro-blogging site to explain to her fans that she has been through a lot and appealed her followers to treat her nicely.

Cyrus added that she would prefer being called an `interesting lesbian`, as she hates the `U word`.
