The photographer, who was shot in the thigh with a pellet gun while hiding outside pop star Britney Spears' rented home, is suing her.
According to Pagesix.com, the photographer Brad Diaz is claiming that the plastic pellet came from the direction of Spears' rented home. Diaz was supposedly standing
about 200 yards from the mansion when he was hit.
The singer was entertaining her guests, including her mother Lynne and her sister Jamie Lynn.
The office manager at Diaz's agency said: "This was an uncalled for act of aggression. Brad has a bullet lodged deep into his skin. He could have been hit in the eye and
blinded. He could have been hit in the head and killed. It's not funny. I was told by people at the scene that police officers talking to Britney's bodyguards were sort of
standing around laughing at it. People don't like paparazzi, but it's not a good reason to shoot at them."
Internet Movie Database adds that the pregnant Spears has denied any knowledge of the shooting outside the mansion where the singer was having a baby shower thrown
for her baby due in September.
