California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger does not have immediate plans of returning to Hollywood.

Sci-fi thriller "Westworld" - the movie he was slated to produce and star in before he won California's gubernatorial election in 2003 - is now going ahead without his participation, according to Daily Variety Friday.

The remake of the 1973 original, starring Yul Brynner will proceed ahead with Tarsem Singh ("The Cell") in the directorial role.

No star has been signed yet and a spokesman for Schwarzenegger said that the former action star was not even thinking about a return to Hollywood. But Variety reported that he could still appear in the movie should he decide not to seek re-election next year or lose the race.
