Screen beauty Gwyneth Paltrow has slammed Hollywood as an old fashioned industry run solely by men.
The Oscar-winning actress detests the way female writers, directors and actors are marginalised by producers and insists Hollywood is miles behind the rest of the world,
reports Hollywood.com.
Paltrow is infuriated by movies that celebrate men's sexual prowess, but neglect female sexuality.
She said: "The men in Hollywood make it hard for women. I really believe that... it's kind of like the old-boy industries. It's mostly run by men.
"A lot of women writers in Hollywood write from their own experience and those experiences get so kind of homogenized (by producers) that what started as a core idea from
somebody's life often becomes a movie that you've seen a number of times."
