Actor Eddie Redmayne is supporting a new campaign which promotes the use of films as an educative tool in schools.
The 32-year-old admits that films are only mistaken as a source of entertainment, reports contactmusic.com.
"I always thought that film was entertainment, it wasn't something you could learn from and my god, I was mistaken...in this country we have this great legacy and heritage, which is a wonderful thing but it made theatre be the real focus... (People these days) are so much more film literate and editor literate than certainly my generation or the generations above... So it's an amazing time to be supporting this," he said.
The actor launched a drive at a school in London this month.
