Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want their six kids to know that Hollywood is "not the centre" of their household.

The 38-year-old actress star, who is the daughter of actor John Voight, told 5 News that growing up around Hollywood had taken away the excitement of being around it and it she believes it's good that their kids enjoy movies and can see something regular about it at the same time, the Mirror reported.

They want their children to enjoy other things in life, added the Oscar winning star.
