She has a busy life as an actor, director and human rights activist but Angelina Jolie does not plan to join politics as she feels she would not be effective there. The actress is gearing up for the release of 'Maleficent' where she plays the famous Disney villain.

The UN Goodwill ambassador was asked whether she would reconsider joining politics by 'Good Morning America' host George Stephanopoulos, reported the Wrap.

He reminded the actress about her 2005 comments where she had said she could not get into politics due to all the skeletons in her closet. "I wonder if by now my skeletons are out. They're probably all out," Jolie said. The actress said she would not mind joining politics provided she is thinks she is effective.

"You know, if I thought I'd be effective, I would. But I'm not sure if I would ever be taken seriously in that way and be effective," the 38-year-old star said.
