Fashion Designer Tom Ford's luxury sneaker collection will go on sale in the US this autumn.

The 52-year-old designer has created a selection of high and low-top models, available in leather and velvet with white rubber soles, which are set to go on sale exclusively at the Tom Ford stores in Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and Chicago in the US, reports WWD.com

Each luxury shoe is manufactured in an Italian workshop where cobblers spend a week polishing and stitching the footwear after which the leather is "rested" for 10 days.

The cobblers then take up to three days polishing the shoes. The price starts from $690 and goes up to $990.
